AI Training in Ethiopia with USAGM & VOA

Journalists gained an understanding of the role Artificial Intelligence (AI) can play in journalism during two 3-day training sessions. They were introduced to various AI tools and their applications in newsroom workflows. Participants practiced creating AI-generated content and learned about the USAGM Direct system and its utilization. Showcasing VOA content during the training sessions increased its uptake among respective affiliates.
